First Subdivision – The First Subdivision of the Plains Division ran from Wellington, Kansas, to Waynoka, Oklahoma. It was part of Santa Fe’s transcontinental mainline between Chicago and the West Coast. This book covers from Roland (first siding west of Wellington) to Avard (last siding east of Waynoka). Wellington is covered in the Wellington Terminal. Waynoka is covered in the Second Subdivision.
