Third District – The Third District of the Plains Division ran from Amarillo, Texas, to Clovis, New Mexico. It was part of Santa Fe’s transcontinental mainline between Chicago and the West Coast. This book covers from Umbarger (west of Canyon) to Texico (east of Clovis). Amarillo to Canyon and Clovis are covered in separate books.
