Harvey House, Lakin, Kansas

Harvey House at Lakin Kansas, was built and owned by Guy R. Potter, in 1876, he being the proprieter and owner. In 1879 the house was bought and managed by Fred Harvey; being among the first houses operated by Harvey. A Mr. Fisher, was manager of the house after the same was bought, and he managed the house until it was torn down and moved to Sargent (Now Coolidge, Kansas in December 1880)

The Harvey House while at Lakin stood by an Elm tree on the north side of the track and at the west end of yard.

Kendall

Present Kendall was originally called Aubrey
