ATSF engine no. 3171 hauls a freight train along the Arkansas River near Kaw City on the original Eastern Oklahoma Railway grade heading south from Newkirk, OK. Date unknown, according to a Santa Fe Railway photo. This scene is identical that of the old E. O. grade along the Cimarron between Perkins and Goodnight, OK.
