ATSF Side Door (Blindside) Caboose Model

Pictured is an HO model of an ATSF caboose of the same type as caboose 329 which was wrecked on March 19, 1909, near Goodnight, Oklahoma on the old Eastern Oklahoma Ry. Line running from Guthrie, OK, to Ripley and Cushing, Oklahoma. This is an MEW model which the author purchased in 1975 from a long gone hobby shop located in Long Beach, California. Notice the prototype has two side windows on its left side (cupola to rear), and three side windows on the right, while the MEW model has three left side windows, and two right side windows (not pictured). Otherwise a good looking model!

Picture taken using diorama in author's residence. Joe Cammalleri digital photo.
