Chicago, Aug. 31st, 1886
B. F. Booker, Esq.,
Engineer Lock Box #6
Keokuk, Iowa.
Dear Sir:
Your letter of the 25th to Mr. Crocker, Superintendent, has been forwarded to me and I take
pleasure in giving you the desired information and enclose your distance table.
This shows the distance from our 26th Street Station to Chicago, which would mean the Court
House, to be 5 miles, but our new depot at Harrison Street would be reached from 26th Street by
about 3-1/3 miles by an air line or about 4-1/2 miles by the section lines.
Yours truly
(Signed) F. E. Hinckley
Prest.
