The following is the situation report on the E. O. Ry. To date:
GRADING: finished to mile 70, and nearing completion form there to Pawnee.
TRACK: To mile 58, surfaced.
BRIDGES: All bridges except one driven between Guthrie and Stillwater, and two-thirds of the piles driven for Cimarron river piers. Howe Truss gang unloading material for spans at Cimarron river. All pipes hauled to position, and all except last 15 miles covered.
BUILDINGS: Depots complete at Campbell, Iowa City, Perkins, and Ripley: three-fourths done at Stillwater. Section Houses at Russell, Perkins, complete and two-thirds done at Ripley. Bunk Houses at Russell, Iowa City, Perkins, Ripley, Mehan and Stillwater. The two last named not in permanent location.
WATER SERVICE: Well at Iowa City complete and roofed over. Pump house at Iowa City complete except painting. Tank foundation complete and awaiting riveters to erect tank at Iowa City. Temporary tank and pump at Fitzgerald creek near Iowa City in use. Well at Ripley down 14 feet in quick sand. Temporary pumping plant at little Stillwater creek near Mehan, pumping direct into tank. Temporary pumping plant at Boomer creek North of Stillwater pumping direct into tank.
STOCK YARDS at Campbell, Iowa City, Goodnight (temporary), Perkins, Ripley, Mehan (temporary).
