Herewith please find progress report of construction on the Eastern Oklahoma and the Guthrie & Western Railways, under date of September 7th.
EASTERN OKLAHOMA RAILWAY.
GRADING: At Pawnee, completed. At Yost reservoir, completed. Certain channels remain to be cleaned out after steel bridges are placed.
TRESTLE BRIDGES: Completed. All piles driven for piers for girders and I beams.
HOWE TRUSS BRIDGES: Delivered on ground except painting, and except one span at Cimarron river, for which iron is not yet at hand.
STEEL GIRDER BRIDGES: Delivered on ground, and will be placed on arrival of Iron Bridge gang the latter part of October. Between Ripley and Pawnee all but one I beam bridge completed. Between Ripley and Guthrie, I beam bridges yet to be placed.
BUILDINGS: Completed, except Yost pump house. Cottom platforms completed at Pawnee and Glencoe; and are to be placed at Stillwater, (under construction), Ripley and Coyle.
WATER SERVICE: Tanks at Pawnee and Yost awaiting Steel gang for erection. Foundations completed. Trench dug for pipe line at Yost.
TRACK: Industrial tracks at Stillwater about completed. This leaving industrial tracks at Ripley and Coyle to be laid; sidings to be surfaced at Mohan, and North end of Pawnee yard to be completed.
GUTHRIE & WESTERN RAILWAY
GRADING: Completed.
TRESTLE BRIDGES: Completed.
HOWE TRUSS BRIDGES: Completed.
STEEL GIRDER BRIDGE: One to be erected.
