Santa Fe Railway
I believe this to be the train order that ended the Stillwater district timetable west of Stillwater and the entire Cushing District. On May 27, 1957 flood waters on the Cimarron River finally ended the maintenance headache known as the Stillwater and Cushing districts. The western poriton of the Stillwater District and the entire Cushing District followed the south bank of the Cimarron River. The waters of the Cimarron River were and still are very agressive.
