The photos are old (Dad appears about 25, which would make it 1922), 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", and are beginning to get a sepia tint to them.

There was a book written that I read long ago titled "Slim" about a lineman who fell down a pole and climbed right back up again, I don't know who wrote it. I seem to remember Dad saying that this was the guy. His notation on the back: "Slim Clayton - Straw (Straw meaning strawboss). Note Box car and Passenger cars in back ground. (picture)
This is of the crew's (linemen) sleeping car with the notation on the back..."Where we sleep-beds were not made up "pretty" as it was Sunday-". (picture)
Snowed in No caption on this one, Dad is not in the picture so it may have been the operating crew. White spot in front of right hand man is not snow...a part of the surface of the picture has stuck to something at one time or another and come off. (picture)
Group photo of the gang. - The caption on this is..."Gang-find me". I assume it is the linemen, and he (Rodger T. Haley) is third from right, bottom row. (picture)
R. T. Haley hanging on to the outside of a passenger car. Caption: Going at least thirty miles an hour-looking for breaks (picture)

"Our truck and dogs ride the cab over any kind of roads and in all kinds of weather-unless someone yells "headache", then they get down Pronto as they have been dragged off by guy wires a couple of times." (picture) 024 "The machine that dig the holes and sets the poles on an F.W.D Truck." (picture) 025 Hand car and lineman in the snow. Per Bob Haley - Dad is on the hand car and since what appears to be flame is not damage to the photo but part of the print suspect it might have been to heat the soldering irons.
