Position for B. Cross:
Material Yard for eastern Oklahoma Ry.
G 295
Topeka, September 9, 1899.
Mr. Jas. Dun,
Chief Engineer,
Building.
Dear Sir:
This will serve to acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 7th, relative to using Mr. B. Cross as General Foreman of B. B. & W. S. Of the Eastern Oklahoma Ry., on October 1st, at $150.00 per month; also for the placing of the material yard for this railroad at Arkansas City.
I understand that you will arrange to have the material billed to that point. I have so advised Superintendent Dolan and requested that he arrange to put in the necessary tracks, using material of the Eastern Oklahoma Ry. For same.
Yours truly,
H. U. Mudge.
