Selections From The Splinters

Daily report of progress of Track.

EASTERN OKLAHOMA RY.
Office of Resident Engineer
Feb. 7, 1900
Guthrie, Oklahoma

Mr. James Dun,
Chief Engineer,
Topeka.

Dear Sir:

As you seem never to have received the track reports for Feb 2nd to 5th inclusive, I
give them below. I do not think the telegraph department is in the least to blame in this matter. I will from now on see that these reports are wire daily.

Feb. 1st Track laid 4300 ft. Stat. 463 to Stat. 506
	  ã 2nd Driving Bridge
	  ã 3rd Track laid, 6800 ft. Stat. 506 to Stat. 572
ã 4th Sunday. A few men picking up low places.
          ã 5th Track laid 5400 ft. Stat. 572 to Stat. 626
				Wire reports resume on 6th.

Yours truly,

H. C. Phillips
