Dates when track reached various stations on the Eastern Oklahoma.
Topeka, Kansas,
June 18, 1900.
Mr. H U Mudge
General Manager Building.
Dear Sir:
On the 7th of February, I gave you a statement of dates when track reached
various stations on the Eastern Oklahoma. That statement showing the date
when track laying was begun at Guthrie Junction, viz: October 18, and covered
up to and including Ripley. I now give you dates when track reached the
various stations between Ripley and Pawnee, and for convenient reference,
I repeat the information given in my letter of February 7. You will note
that there are some very slight differences in the mileage to the stations
between Guthrie and Ripley. That is because when my letter of February
7 was written, we did not have the chaining notes, and so gave, as stated,
approximate distances. The distances now given are from chaining record
and correct.
Yours truly,
(Sgd) James Dun Chief Engineer.
